What does everyone use for incense for their meditation / prayer / ritual practices?
John, where did you get the Pontifical?

I've used several types.
1. Pontifical Blend from Boric Religious Supply in Saint John, Indiana (enjoyable and complex, burns fairly clean)
2. Pontifical Blend from Deacon John (sweet and medium complexity with an overall wonderful burn, does burn a bit harsh at the end)
3. Benedictine blend (too floral, no thanks)
4. Elu Cohen Powder (Martinist Incense) - burns quick but leaves an impression
5. Frankincense alone - I like this!

Could you define "leaves an impression". Does this mean something along the lines of your faceprint on the alter because you've passed out from it or something like a memory of "oh that was nice"?

Nope, it's light in smoke and the scent, THE SCENT, leaves the impression ha!!!! It (the scent) is exotic and heightens awareness (IMO)
